A practical buying guide to PETKIT litter box bags, natural litter, crystal litter sets, and the Dustproof Curtain 3.0, with decision rules for UK cat owners.

Quick answer

Start with PETKIT Trash Bags if you already own a self-cleaning litter box, because waste disposal is the accessory you will replace most often. Add PETKIT Natural Cat Litter for a plant-based, easy-to-scoop option, or the Crystal Litter Set Green for low-maintenance odor trapping. Only buy the Dustproof Curtain 3.0 if you own a PUROBOT MAX PRO 2 or Purobot Max 3, because it is designed for those models.

The accessory that runs out first: litter box bags

Self-cleaning litter boxes still need a waste bin liner, and the bag is the part you touch daily. PETKIT Trash Bags are built with a generous size for pet waste and household rubbish, and the long-lasting construction reduces how often you replace them. If you are searching for petkit litter box bags, this is the practical starting point. Buy the quantity option that matches your cleaning rhythm: a single cat usually needs fewer changes than a multi-cat household, so a larger pack lowers the chance of running out mid-week.

Litter choice: natural plant-based vs scented crystal

Litter is not just filler; it changes odor, tracking, and how often you scoop. PETKIT Natural Cat Litter is 100% plant-based and designed to control odors naturally, and it is gentle and safe for cats of all ages. It is easy to scoop and maintain, which suits owners who want a familiar clumping-style routine. The Crystal Litter Set Green takes a different approach: scented crystals trap odors instantly and keep the space fresh, with a low-maintenance experience aimed at busy families and multi-cat homes. The trade-off is texture and feel under paw, so if your cat is fussy about litter, introduce any change gradually rather than swapping the whole box at once.

The model-specific accessory: Dustproof Curtain 3.0

The PETKIT Magnetic Dustproof Curtain 3.0 is not a universal add-on. It is designed to fit the PUROBOT MAX PRO 2 and Purobot Max 3 litter boxes. Its upgraded magnetic closure opens for cats and closes automatically to stop dust and odors spreading, and the translucent material lets natural light in without blocking the built-in camera view. It is easy to install, remove, and clean. If you own a different PETKIT model, this curtain is not the right fit, and you should check your model's own accessory line instead. For the two supported models, it is the accessory that most directly improves the area around the box.

How to build a sensible cat litter box supplies order

Think in layers rather than buying everything at once. Layer 1 is waste disposal: PETKIT Trash Bags. Layer 2 is litter: Natural Cat Litter or Crystal Litter Set Green. Layer 3 is environmental control: the Dustproof Curtain 3.0, but only if your litter box model supports it. This order keeps your first purchase useful even if you delay the rest. One honest limitation: the supplied catalog does not list option types for the Natural Cat Litter or the Crystal Litter Set Green, so check the product page for current pack sizes before you commit to a bulk order.

Decision rules for PETKIT litter box accessories

If you are replacing the part you touch daily: Choose PETKIT Trash Bags and pick the quantity option that matches your cleaning rhythm. Buy bags first; they are the accessory you will reorder most often.
If your cat is fussy about litter texture: Start with PETKIT Natural Cat Litter for a plant-based, easy-to-scoop option and transition gradually. Natural litter is the safer first switch for sensitive paws.
If odor and maintenance are your main problems: Choose the Crystal Litter Set Green for scented crystals that trap odors instantly and suit busy or multi-cat homes. Crystal litter trades a plant-based material for lower daily effort.
If you own a PUROBOT MAX PRO 2 or Purobot Max 3: Add the Dustproof Curtain 3.0 to reduce dust and odor spread while keeping the camera view clear. Check your model first; this curtain is not a universal fit.
